Automotive Tinting Aftercare

We apply your window tint using a water-based solution to help position and bond the film to the glass. While most of the water is removed during installation, some moisture can remain trapped between the film and the glass.

This can cause temporary haziness, water pockets, or slight inconsistencies in the colour or clarity — this is completely normal. In fact, it may get worse before it gets better. These areas will dry out on their own over the next couple of weeks, depending on the weather and how often the car is exposed to sunlight. If you do see these water bubbles, do NOT try push them out! Leave them to dry out on their own to avoid damaging the glue. Parking in the sun speeds up the curing process.

Some cars are fine to wind the windows down right away, but others need to stay up for a few days. We'll always let you know what's best for your vehicle after the job is done.

Cleaning Your Car’s Tinted Windows

Most store-bought glass cleaners contain ammonia, which can damage tint over time. The safest way to clean your windows is to use a tint-friendly window cleaner, or simply a damp microfiber cloth followed by a dry one. Avoid anything scratchy or rough!

Residential & Commercial Window Tinting

Just like cars, your home or office window film is applied with a water solution. While most of it is squeegeed out during installation, small water pockets can remain trapped under the film. These can look like bubbles or streaks and are completely normal. The drying period for buildings can be much longer — up to 6 months in some cases depending on weather, sunlight exposure, and glass type.

Another thing you might notice is small edge gaps. These are an unavoidable part of professional film installation. They help ensure the film doesn't lift, peel, or get damaged over time. Globally, a tolerance of 1–4mm is accepted in the window film industry. Our goal is always consistency — neat, clean lines that look uniform across all windows.

Cleaning Tinted Home & Office Windows

Use the same care here as with cars. No ammonia-based cleaners. A soft, damp cloth and a gentle touch is all that’s needed to keep your windows looking crystal clear.
